About the Program
This two-day course provides a comprehensive review of the areas included in the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) exam: Direct Practice, HBSE, Research, Administration and Social Work Ethics. It is geared towards individuals preparing for the Masters Level (Licensed Master Social Worker), Advanced Generalist Level (AP) and Clinical Level (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) exams.
This course focuses on reviewing essential information, skills and strategies for taking the LMSW, LMSW-AP and LCSW exams. Participants will acquire knowledge and techniques designed to assist them in obtaining licensure.
The fee includes 12 hours of instruction, a 90 page study guide and two practice tests.
This course is approved for 12 hours of continuing education, including 1 hour of ethics, from NASW/Texas.
About the Speaker
Cynthia Franklin, PhD, LCSW is a Professor at the School of Social Work, University of Texas, Austin.
Early registration for the program is highly recommended. Registrations received on or before November 26, 2009 are entitled to an early registration discount. NASW members save 30%. Refunds for the registration fee, less $35 will be made only if notice of cancellation is received in writing and postmarked no later than November 26, 2009. We regret that we cannot refund registrations after that date.

The venue asks that you park in their north parking lot near the Health Care Center. There are many parking spaces available, but please do not park in any covered spots as those are reserved for the residents. You’ll need to sign in at the nurses' station (the sign in book is to the right as you enter the Health Care Center; if you come in a group, only one of you will need to sign in) and then go straight back to the elevator behind the nurses' station, down the hall and take it to the 3rd floor.
