NASW/Texas Partners, Allies and Coalitions
The NASW/Texas Board of Directors, the Equity Committees, and the Critical Issue Advisories have identified the following specific organizational allies that are experts and/or leaders on issues brought up during a legislative session, for rule-making processes, and policy advocacy and decision-making. Input is included from members, and issues at the federal level through the National office are considered as well when a partnership is considered.
The Executive Director or the Govt. Relations Director will research the appropriateness and value of potential partnerships and will explore cross-linking our websites and ways to inform our membership. The Board of Directors makes the final decision on chapter partnerships.
