NASW/Texas both approves and provides programs for social work continuing education. Continuing education must contribute to the advancement, extension and enhancement of the professional skills and knowledge of the licensee in social work. All programs meet criteria as set out in section 781.511 of the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiner Rules. Programs are approved for Social Work, LPC and LMFT licenses.
