fullfilling requirements for two year board-approved supervisor status


Board-approved 40-hour course for Supervision, taught by Dorinda Noble, PhD, LCSW. Dr. Noble is the former director of the School of Social Work at Texas State University. This course will take place over 3 days followed by individual online work.

After taking this course, participants will be able to fulfill the requirements to apply to be board approved supervisor.

 

40 CE, including 12 hrs ethics 


Registration Information

Preregistration is available online at NASWTX.org until Sunday, April 8th. Seating is limited and preregistration is encouraged.

Nonmembers $550

 

 

 

 

Onsite Full Day Rates will increase as follows: $45 Member/$55 Nonmember April 8, 2018.  Pre-registration is encouraged.

Note: If you are unable to attend the workshop for any reason, please notify the chapter office immediately if the invoice has not been paid so that we may have an accurate count for attendance.  If it has been paid, please notify the chapter office no later than the date listed in the cancellation policy. 

 
Cancellations will be refunded less a $35 processing fee if made by March 29, 2018. Registrations are nonrefundable after that date.

Registration fees must be paid or postmarked by April 8, 2018 Registrations unpaid at this time will be considered onsite registrations, meaning the seat will not be held.

Meet dorinda noble, phd, lcsw

     

  Dorinda N. Noble, Ph.D., LCSW, previously served as Director of Social Work at Texas State. Dr. Noble taught at both Texas Tech University and Louisiana State University before joining Texas State. A graduate of Tulane University and the University of Texas-Austin, Dr. Noble is active in scholarship and teaching in the areas of supervision, ethics, and social work regulation.  Dr. Noble served on the Louisiana licensing board (appointed two times by different governors), and on the Texas social work regulatory board (a gubernatorial appointment), so she has been active in social work regulation for almost twenty years.  She is the Former President of the Association of Social Work Boards.
