NASW Seeks Award Nominations

Help recognize and honor exceptional social work and community leaders! NASW and the NASW Foundation are seeking nominations of individuals within the profession and our communities who fully embody social work values and ethics. Categories include: * Social Worker of the Year (exemplifies the best of the profession's values) * Lifetime Achievement (demonstrate repeated outstanding achievements throughout the social worker's lifetime career) * Public Citizen of the Year (outstanding leadership in the community) * Public Elected Official of the Year (leadership in public policy issues important to the profession) * Knee/Wittman Lifetime Achievement (exemplary contributions in health & mental health practice) * Knee/Wittman Outstanding Achievement (significant impact on national mental health public policy, professional standards, or program models) * International Rhoda G. Sarnat (demonstrate efforts that advance the public image of social work). Nominations are being accepted through October 25, 2017. Recipients will be honored at A Night at the Awards ... A Night to Remember, held in conjunction with NASW's National Conference, June 2018 in Washington, D.C. See more information and submit your nomination.
