Social Work Paves the Way for Change

2015 marks a special year for the social work community.

The nation will commemorate National Social Work Month in March and the National Association of Social Workers will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2015.

NASW’s goal during Social Work Month and throughout 2015 will be to educate the public about how social workers and the association have brought about major positive social changes, improved the lives of individuals and families, and will continue to do so in the future.

Find additional resources for helping to spread the word at socialworkers.org.

Social Work Advocacy Day and Pledge to Visit

On Tuesday, March 3 we will need your help advocating for social workers and our clients in Texas! Join us and help promote our Legislative Agenda!

We are inviting all professional social workers and social work students to either join us at the Capitol or head down to your local legislator’s office and help promote our legislative agenda.  Get ready to talk about the issues that matter to social workers most.
