The NASW/Texas Conference Planning Committee seeks submissions for presentations relevant to critical and emerging social work topics (education, practice, research, etc.) across the social work career span for the 43rd Annual NASW/Texas State Conference to take place in Galveston on October 3-5, 2019.

This year's conference theme is, "Elevate Social Work."

We're also searching for volunteers to review the abstracts. This 1-3 hour virtual project will take place in early March. Abstract readers must be NASW members, have a social work degree (BSW, MSW, PhD) and at least two years of experience post-graduation. Please note, individuals submitting proposals for consideration for the 2019 conference are not eligible.

Be a part of one of these valuable professional development experiences by donating your time and sharing your knowledge with social workers and allied professionals from across the state.

The deadline is February 6, 2019 but why wait?
