Legislative Changes to the Texas Loan Repayment Program for Mental Health Professionals
The NASW-TX Chapter, the Texas Coalition of Healthy Minds, and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board are hosting a webinar on January 28 from 12:00–1:30pm to review major updates to the Texas Loan Repayment Program for Mental Health Professionals. SB 646 expanded provider eligibility and increased repayment amounts, creating new opportunities for early-career social workers and other mental health professionals. Hear from experts as they explain the new requirements and application steps. Presented by: Mckenzie Martin with Texas Association of Community Health Centers, Bryan Mares with NASW-TX, and Erika Norris with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. This course does not offer CE Hours.
