Deanna Gabelein

Deanna Gabelein oversees all things events and communications at NASW Texas. She has an extensive background in event management which includes corporate event planning, festivals, weddings, and more. Deanna has been with the chapter since 2015. She's the mastermind behind our top-notch professional development programs, including the popular Spring Workshop Series and the annual state conference—one of the largest social worker gatherings in the country.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from UT Austin. Deanna's a proud mom to a college-aged son and enjoys dining out with her husband, watching documentary films, and her new favorite hobby, "forest bathing."
