Taylor Brewer Sambrano is the Director of Member Engagement at the National Association of Social Workers Texas Chapter, where she has been dedicated to enhancing member engagement since 2019. Born and raised in Austin, with part of her childhood spent outside of Houston, Taylor has deep roots in Texas. She earned her BSW from Texas State University in December 2019 and completed her MSSW at the University of Texas at Austin in May 2023. Taylor's professional journey includes serving as a legislative intern at the Texas State Capitol during the 86th Legislative Session, interning at the Texas Homeless Network for her BSW field placement, and completing her final MSSW work-based field placement with NASW Texas during the 88th Legislative Session. Taylor's commitment to social work and her experience in legislative advocacy and member engagement guide her in connecting with members, understanding their needs, and driving meaningful engagement initiatives within the association. Taylor currently resides in San Marcos, where she loves to spend her free time at the river with family and friends.
