The Alamo Area Branch of NASW/Texas covers the following counties: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, Wilson.

Schools of Social Work in the Alamo Area Branch include: Our Lady of the Lake University and University of Texas at San Antonio.
