Why Run for an Elected Leadership Position?

Do you want to help advance the profession of social work in Texas? Network with social work leaders across the state? Develop your leadership skills?

Being a volunteer leader with NASW Texas is a fun and meaningful way to increase your leadership skills, pursue your passions, and serve the profession.

At just six employees, the NASW Texas staff is small. It is truly the work of our volunteer leaders that makes serving our more than 5,000 members possible. Volunteers are a vital part of what we do and determine what direction we head in Texas!

Leadership and learning are indispensible to each other. - John F. Kennedy
