The NASW-TX Conference Planning Committee is seeking volunteers to read abstracts for the 50th Annual NASW-TX State Conference, in Galveston, on November 5 - 7, 2026.
Abstract readers review up to 5 abstracts and rate them according to specifications set by the Conference Planning Committee. This process usually takes 1 - 3 hours and will take place during the month of March. All correspondence will be electronic. Abstract Reader Eligibility Criteria: Must be an NASW Member with a social work degree (BSW, MSW or PhD) and at least two years of experience post graduation. Note: Individuals submitting a proposal for consideration in the 2026 conference are not eligible.
