Don Roedner

Don is a second-year MSW student at Texas State University. Social Work will be his third career, after 10 years working in the executive branch in Michigan and the legislative and judicial branches in Massachusetts, and 30 years in the software industry. He will graduate in December 2026 with the goal of seeking a role where he can influence public policy affecting adolescents and the elderly.

Don has two immensely accomplished daughters and three grandkids. After spending 50+ years trying to master the guitar he has discovered that all along he was actually a drummer.
