Marina DeHoyos

Marina DeHoyos, is excited to intern with NASW-Tx under Will Francis, LMSW. She is currently attending Texas State University in San Marcos, Tx. She is in the Advance Leadership Master’s Program in Social Work. She is expected to graduate this Fall 2025!

Marina is from Ballinger, Tx. She has been enrolled in higher education since 2019. She has obtained her associates at South Plains College in Levelland, Tx majored in social work in 2021. She then obtained her Bachelor’s in social work degree in 2024 at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Tx. She has attended the Social Work Advocacy Day (SWAD) events since 2023 attended and meet with legislator officials advocating for bills to support social workers in her region.
