NASW-TX Comments on BHEC Proposed Rule Change

NASW-TX offered comments on a proposed BHEC rule that would remove licensing board members from certain disciplinary hearings. We are requesting that in all informal conferences regarding disciplinary matters before BHEC, a member of each respective licensing board be present.

Licensing board members bring profession-specific expertise, context, and an understanding of standards of care that are critical to informed and balanced decision-making.
